  • How long have you been a pet lover? Could you tell us your background?
All of our pet sitters are avid pet lovers! Most of them have multiple pets of their own and understand how hard it is to leave your fur kids behind. I have been a pet sitter for 18+years and truly love what I do. Personally I have 5 dogs of my own-Mollie is a 18 yr old Westie, Ellie is a 4 yr old basset rescue, Maddie is an extremely energetic 9old blue heeler/corgi mix, Mya is a beagle/Aussie 7 years young and Kash is an 11 yr old dachshund/schnauzer, quite a variety! We also have a beautiful gray ragdoll boy named Simon and two paint horses Phoenix and Grace. Each of my pets has added so much to my life. I feel truly blessed to be a part of my client's pet’s lives and consider them my extended family. For several years I have worked with rescues and many of our clients have given rescued animals a second chance at life through adoption
  • What would you like to know about a dog before a pet sitting service? Do you have any breed preferences?
When you contact 3DogPet, we would like to meet with you and your pets to find out as much as we can about them-their likes/dislikes, favorite toys, typical routine, medical issues, fears, etc. We strive to keep your pets in their normal routine while you are gone to ensure their health and happiness.
  • Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?
In the event of an emergency, 3DogPet is authorized (through paperwork you have set up with us) to transport your pets to your vet or if necessary a vet hospital.
  • Are you comfortable administering medication?
Many of our clients have pets that require daily medication and we are very comfortable administering these as necessary. We have had diabetic pets that require shots and other pets that need fluids for kidney problems. Feel free to ask about any specific concerns you may have regarding your pets needs.
  • Are you willing to do additional tasks at my home while I'm away (e.g., water plants, bring in the mail)?"
At your initial consultation we will determine what additional services you might need. Typically we will water your plants(an additional charge may apply if there are a large number ie: garden), take out your trash, rotate lights, pick up your mail/newspaper and check pool traps if needed. We are happy to discuss additional specific needs you might have while you are away.
  • How much time do you plan on spending with my pet each day?
A routine pet visit is 30 minutes. During that time we will play with your pets, make sure that they have gone potty, take them on a short walk (if requested), feed them at the appropriate times, give medication and change litterboxes, etc. as necessary. We do offer extended visits for an additional charge and would be happy to speak to you regarding these services as needed. If you are requesting an overnight stay in your home our pet sitter will be there at least 10 hours.
